New regulations for settling the withholding tax – the hottest topic of 2019 as well as 2020. All this because the new regulations came into force in 2019, but their term of validity was postponed twice by the Ministry of Finance and, as a result, for a large part they will become effective as of 2020. What's more, even though these provisions are not yet applicable in practice, they have already seen a draft of ministerial clarification. It is therefore worth analyzing the new regulations from the business viewpoint, as they can be complicated and cause problems in terms of interpretation.

Should you need any help in this analysis, TPA Poland's experts are at your disposal.
Among other novelties, it is worth noting the provisions concerning:

  • Minimum Tax
  • Exit Tax
  • Transfer Pricing
  • Reduced 9% CIT rate
  • Notional Interest Deduction
  • Tax on Cryptocurrency
  • Innovation Box
